Montgomery County Carvers (MCC)

Welcome to the Montgomery County Carver (MCC) website.  We are a community of wood carvers located in the Montgomery County Maryland area that share a passion for carving.  

We meet monthly for an in-person club meeting on the third Thursday of each month in the evening from 7:00-9:00pm at The Woodworkers Club (WC) located in Rockville, Maryland. Prior to each meeting from 3:00-5:30pm on the same day we hold an open carve / skill enhancement session where members bring their own projects to work on and enjoy the camaraderie. This is a great time to seek advice and pick up tips from fellow members in a very informal session.

We continue to also host a virtual Open Carving Session via Zoom on the first Thursday of each month from 3:00-5:30pm with a focus on skills enhancements.

If you have an interest in carving, regardless of skill level, we welcome you.
